FREEMASONRY IN SOUTH FLORIDA

Eureka North-Shore Lodge No. 269

Eureka-North Shore Lodge traces its roots back to 1931. Since the mid-twentieth century, we have been at our current location in Dania Beach, a beautiful seaside town known as the oldest city in Broward County. Our organization has worked hard to positively impact our local community for almost a century.

Eureka-North Shore hails from the merger of two historical lodges in South Florida; Eureka Lodge, first chartered in 1931, and North Shore Lodge, first chartered in 1948. Today, we continue to meet in the historic Eureka-North Shore Masonic Center, formerly known as Eureka Temple, originally built in 1952.

Members of Eureka-North Shore hail from a variety of backgrounds from all corners of the world, and we unite in solidarity with our fraternity.  We welcome traveling Masons and guests on select evenings.

Freemasonry teaches not merely temperance, fortitude, prudence, justice, brotherly love, relief, and truth, but liberty, equality, and fraternity, and it denounces ignorance, superstition, bigotry, lust tyranny, and despotism.
